Is this a symptom of endo?

Hi .. I have never posted on here before but i don't seem to be getting anywhere with my doctors.

i have been diagnosed with Endometriosis, For the past 2-3 months i have been geting terrible cramps and really bad toilet habits maybe once a week. I am not ill ( with a bug). Could this be because of the Endometriosis considering i don't have any other problems?

TIA Kerry

It may be, but it's hard to tell without more info.

What does the cramping feel like? location? intensity?

Is it worse around the time you're due to have your period like that week or the week before?

Or is it more around ovulation?

Is it wee or poo (tmi) or both? constipated or runny? struggling to go, or just going? feeling blocked or swollen?

Any other symptoms? stomach cramps? blood? bloated?

Do you take any other medication? painkillers? sometimes some can react badly

Have you looked at your diet? do you change anything during that time when you're bad? like meal out? alcohol? fast food? wheat? dairy? meat? caffeine?

It's all stuff I've been asked when I said the same as you to my GP.

And I don't think there's such thing as too much info (tmi) on here lol!

Hi Farahziya thank you for your reply... ok here goes

I have already been diagnosed with Endo to clear that up.. i am looking at my diet to try and help with my issue.. unfortunately its Diarrhoea but its very bad cramps, like coming and going * alomost like having a baby * i cant walk with them almost feel faint and sick and have to go the toilet right away. I have had 5 surgeries on my tummy and my last child was born by emerg c section and when they was operating they took a very long time.. i asked why it took so long and her response was you was stuck together took us a while to seperate organs. But the pain is so bad i could cry infact i do often, i need to keep a diary or these eps and understand them properly. But i am not being listened to and my doctors and crap the reception like to ignor calls and diagnose when you call. im unsure of what to do next.

ahh that sounds awful with the reception / doctors, and the symptoms too :(

diary is a good idea. perhaps when you go to your GP ask to be referred to a endometriosis specialist as sometimes GPs will offer advice but don't actually know what's going on.

some women on here have mentioned BSGE specialists...

sorry I can't help more.

Hi kerry08,

I'm sorry to hear that you aren't receiving the support you need with health professionals. Your symptoms certainly sound like they could be caused by endometriosis. Endometriosis UK have lots of useful information on their website which may be useful to look at (including a list of possible symptoms).

It may also be worthwhile to keep a pain and symptoms diary which you can then take to the doctors so they can better help understand and treat the symptoms.

Hope this helps and good luck!
