Telling a guy about endo and kids

Hi ladies so I just wanted to know if you have started dating someone new how long after you start talking do you tell them about the condition and the fact that you need to start having kids soon. After my op I told myself anyone I start dating I will tell them about the condition so they can make a decision about what they want to do. It just stresses me out keeping it to myself I would rather get it out in the open and if they can't handle then clearly not man enough! x

Sorry I had a really bad experience as once I went out with this guy a few months after being diagnosed with the disease and I waited a few months before telling him and then he turned around to me and said he doesn’t want to be a part of that and told me that my body was revolting. And since this experience I have not been on anymore dates.

But I would probably tell him as then you know where you stand. X

Oh god I'm so sorry to hear that!! What an idiot 😡😡 he's not even worthy of you, don't listen to what he said! Disgusting man! Get yourself out there and get dating don't let this stop you he's not worth it. You will meet someone special who will understand your condition and love you for it x

I’ve been with my boyfriend for 9 months and we started talking a year ago. I told him a few months after as I was always at the doctors or hospital appointments (I’m still waiting for diagnosis via lap) and he was worrying a lot. I told him, my doctor said I might not be able to have kids if I have endo etc and his response was we will get through anything together and always as we are a team. And that he will come with me to my surgery and be there the whole time and when I wake up.

If a guy can’t handle talking about periods and stuff, then he’s not a man and don’t waste your time. It’s definitely best to be open as I can talk to my bf about it all as I don’t have anyone else to talk to about it. My parents aren’t supportive in any way in regards to my health. They always say it’s my fault and my dad says “he has to have a daughter who has all the problems”

My ex was a jerk and honestly so happy I dumped him haha as I’m so much happier now. He never listened or understood and made me do things I didn’t want to like in the bedroom (sex is so painful for me). But he’s a boy and not a man

I wish I could talk to someone about my condition but my parents don’t like to talk about their body or hear other people talk about their periods. 2 years ago my best friend died so now I don’t have any real friends apart from those which are convenient friends so now I just emerse myself into work.

Thanks for your reply I attend a group in Totnes which is really good but that is only once a month and sometimes I feel isolated as none of my friends or family understands however when my friend was alive she understood.
