Very odd tingling & shooting pains from lady region to foot?

In the last hour I've been experiencing searing pain which starts in my vagina and goes down my right leg and into my right foot. It only lasts for a few seconds each time but the pain is a good 8 or 9. When it's not the shooting pain, I've got tingling & pins & needles in my leg.

I've never experienced anything like this before so can't work out if it's gynae related or nerve related? My colleague has suggested sciatica but I thought the pain from that started in your bum rather than your genitals?

Any thoughts really appreciated right now!
