Loss of sensation in my bowel

So had a rectum examination today. Could barely feel the doctor 😢. She said I had quite a loss of feeling in my bowel. Has anyone else had this?

I have good muscle tone within my bowel. It’s not flaccid, it’s like it’s permanently closed and the nerves don’t seem to be sending signals to open when I need to go, regardless if my poop is hard or soft.
