Has anyone been able to successfully get pregnant and go full-term with stage 4 Endo? Had a scan last week, Registrar suggested getting pregnant to help my symptoms. During my diagnostic lap in October, had an endometrioma drained, which had grown back by December. Been on Zoladex for a few months, which has reduced the size but still no surgery to remove the Endo that is there. Also concerned due to organs being stuck together whether this will have an impact. Don't want to have it dictated to me when I should have children!

Having a baby to temporarily relieve symptoms of a medical condition has always struck me as the most ridiculous piece of medical advice xxx

Agreed! Keep being told that I'm not getting any younger, I'm not even 30 yet!

Hello! I have stage 4 endo have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years! I had my lap three weeks ago hey found all my organs stuck endometriosis has grown to my kidneys 😭! It has been a very painful recovery, oh one of my ovaries is officially gone! So the chances of getting pregnant are low but docotora told me hat everything is possible when getting pregnant some women have gotten pregnant when less expected and only with one Fallopian tube... so I still have hope! Having said hat getting pregnant is not the solution for your pain! They shouldn’t be giving us this option as a short pain relieve I found it disgraceful!

I’m in my second pregnancy but was unable to get pregnant naturally. I have stage 4 endo and in a bid to help I had both of my tubes partly removed. I only made it to 8 months with my first sue to preeclampsia. I haven’t suffered endo wise in both pregnancies, I’ve just been a bit uncomfortable as things grow and stretch which I’m guessing is either normal for everyone or because everything is stuck together. The cysts on my ovaries did reduce in size in my last pregnancy and in the 14 months between my LB being born and having my transfer I only had one flare up.

It’s a tricky one, if you are ready for children then I’d say try but if you’re not then it might b worth considering freezing some eggs if you can. My biggest challenge was gaining access to retrieve mine due to the cysts on my ovaries. I was 28 when I had my first go and was able to collect 9, by the time I was 32 they could only get 2. Not trying to scare, just hoping to help.
