Hi Aaleyah, that is such a shame that they cancelled at the last minute, did they say why? I feel exactly the same, you almost want them to say they have found something instead of nothing. I have a chocolate cyst that has already shrunk a bit so hoping they can get rid of that but im not really sure what the plan is! Good luck for next month and i hope you dont get cancelled again x

I have my lap on the 9th of March too glad your will get answers! xx

Good luck to you! Don't get too disheartened if nothing is found ( I was gutted and cried so hard I hurt my stitches) because some people end up finding endo later down the line, or sometimes they can find other sources for it that are easy to fix. Good luck with it all and a speedy recovery! x

Thankyou for the advice! I just feel like whatever happens it will be a big obstacle to just have it done as ive never had surgery before. yes by The looks of it on here, lots of people have a few procedures to get headway. Thanks for replying to me it makes it less lonely hearing from others!

Hello!

Weirdly enough I'm excited for mine too. Mine is the 9th of March I believe one of the other responses are the same day as me lol. Feel excited to know what is going on to you will wake up and get an answer and it is kind of empowering. We deserve to know what is going on and some girls are only just starting their journey to get a lap and spend years wondering and waiting so long you bount to feel excited.

I wish you best of luck use this time to pamper yourself and rest.

Keep in touch about your results! xx

I had my first lap last week and it was the first time I’d been admitted to hospital, let alone going under general anaesthetic and having an operation so I was in your situation. The first couple of days after you will be sore and bloated however I only needed to take painkillers for 3 days after. I was amazed by how quickly I got up and ate and left the hospital. Im still feeling a bit tired but other than that ok. They will look after you. I hope you get answers you are looking for. My lap showed extensive endo and I am so much more hopeful now I have a diagnosis. Good luck xxx

Thankyou for getting in touch, i just noticed your other post actually too and although they have found the endo, i am glad you are starting to get some understanding behind it all. Hubby and i been trying for a family for about 2.5 years so im thinking there must be some reason for this! thankyou for sharing about your quick recovery too x

Hi, I have had 5 eye hole surgeries and 1 major. I had a twisted Tube with a Cyst covered Ovary and a disconnected Ovary. The disconnected Ovary was reconnected and the tube made in a straight line and worked fine. But the other was always a problem. The keyhole surgeries have me 6 mths to a year of less pain. I wish you well. Most people don't have the disease as bad. Several people I met on IVF did get Pregnant. I had a career and at the time for me it was all about staying in my job. Hugs for tomorrow. J x

Hiya it went well in the Sense that it was minimally invasive however the surgeon that did is has now referred me to an endo surgeon so it looks like i might need more surgery.but at least its done now! The discharge note said i got significant adhesions of ovaries and bowel in pouch of douglas. X
