Finally being seen because of an emergency appointment but I still need advice on weight loss and mri

I've finally got an emergency upper gastro appointment next Thursday and an endo specialist appointment this thursday☺️ a year ago I got ill and couldnt shake the nausea off skip to now I've in total lost 17kg in weight even though now I'm eating normally 🤔 For those whose lost weight how much did you lose? 🤔 Also I had an MRI for my endo my question is would it be able to see inflammation? I think I may have crohns 🤔

I lost 10kg in 3 weeks over Christmas due to a blockage in my bowel. I'm currently maintaining as I've changed my diet and am finally managing to eat.

I'm not really sure about unexplained weight loss though, glad you're getting it looked into.

I'm currently waiting for a lap and to see a general surgeon regarding my bowels as I've always had suspected adhesions from 2 sections where I had infections with both. I can't comment on the mri as I'm hoping to have one. I think that it's possible to show up severe endo but I'm not sure regarding inflammation.

Have you had a coeliac test too?

Oh no that sounds awful 😢 I'm sorry 😢 Ahh okay I did have my lap and they put extensive so maybe my endo is just severe and causing me problems 🤔 I was tested for hpolyri (a virus) and celiac again even though I was tested for them a year ago and they came back negative both negative again but I did stopping eating gluten a few months ago so still a chance its celiac but will wait until 2 weeks before I start eating again 🤔

I have lost about a stone in last year, which I know isn’t that much, but considering I am not trying and not exercising! 🤔 I am at the stage even my engagement ring is falling off!

She weighed me again today! Going back in a month and if nothing changed she will do some tests! Not sure if I have just been to nervous about everything and now I know I will maybe start to build back up! Just sick of everyone saying your very thin! Are you eating? I have a big dress to fit in to! At this rate my wedding dress will be too big! Let me know how you get on! Xx

It maybe stress 😮 Oh no 😭 I hope you fit it 😮 Yeah i'm eating normally now 🤔 I cant stomach breakfast though but I never really ate breakfast before 🤔 Never been a breakfast person 😂 Xx
