Hi,

I have my lap on the 8th Feb. But since December I have bled almost every day for 37 days ( there were 5 days when I just had some spotting). I am on the cerelle pill, and have been taking this religiously (although had food poisoning in December).

It seems to be getting heavier as the days go on, just wondering if someone could offer me some support because I feel like absolute death. I’m having difficulty getting up and sitting down also as my lower back, and lady parts are very painful.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi hun as you know we have our lap on the same day. I have been bleeding since August I have had a few days here and there where I go with out bleeding. My iron levels were low but I have since changed my diet and I'm eating so much veg . I feel much better since upping the iron in my diet. I have my pre opp on Tuesday so will have bloods then and see what iron levels are like but I feel they are OK. Have you had your pre opp yet or a blood test to check iron levels? Xxx

I haven’t heard anything about a pre op? I just have a letter asking me to come into hospital on the 8th x

Oh that's odd . I have always had pre opps. Maybe they will do it all on the morning of surgery. I hate the waiting.... I'm counting down the days xxx

I have a letter stating the things I can and can not do etc but that’s it! I can’t wait I’ve had a few long periods lasting over a couple of months. But this is my first really long one while on cerelle xx

It's horrid ... I feel dirty all the time. Have a shower then 5 mins later I feel dirty again. I wonder if we will end up a staying in the night. I know most people go home but some stay in xxx

I am the same, I hate how dirty I feel and nothing really helps. I’m hoping to go home so I can chuck my onesie on an chill out with my icecream haha! We are in the afternoon though, so we never know xx

Yes I also hope to get home and chill. When I have been put under before I find it hard to wee after.... fingers crossed I can wee xxx

Ahh fingers crossed it will be okay, I know I vomited last time I went under haha xx
