Swelling, help?

I'm currently waiting for a gynaecologist app but wanted to ask if it's normal to have leg and abdominal swelling.

I've been swollen for 4 weeks now, originally with pain, leg pain, weird sensations on bladder and in pelvic region. Doctor put me back on pill which reduced the pain but also stopped my period from coming resulting in continued bloating. Is this normal?

Not sure I can cope much longer, feeling so down.

I have sciatica and when something like that happens they say you need to go to hospital - pressure on the sciatic nerves.
