Combined pill back to back

Hi I went to my first gynaecologist appointment this week and he is quite sure I have endo and adhesions?

after my next period he has recommended I take my combined pill back to back does anyone else do this, and do you get any side effects?

He said it’s safe and I don’t need to change my pill

I’ve been advised to do this in the past and done it based on advice for the best part of a year. I’m no longer taking any medication, but until I receive treatment again it’s the only thing they can suggest to control symptoms. I was feeling so awful years ago that I felt amazing taking them back to back. I didn’t have any side effects other than gaining a little weight, and I’d lost so much with my uncontrolled symptoms of endo this was a good thing and my boobs shrunk, equally a good thing for me. Since stopping a couple of years ago with trying to conceive the weight is falling off again. If you genuinely don’t have side effects already I imagine you’ll be ok, but you can always get advice if you do and try a different pill.

milly89 thank you for your reply. I don’t see many side effects now so fingers crossed I won’t taking them back to back! hope you receive your treatment soon x
