I have the coil fitted but I keep having spotting and it was meant to be the start of my period yesterday so I keep bleeding today. I'm supposed to have a pelvic MRI on Wednesday so I maybe on my back end of my period so I wanna know if thats allowed or do I have to not be on my period at all?

I don’t think it will mess anything up. I’ve had loads of scans on my period and it’s never been a problem. But if you’re concerned call your doctor to be sure xx

I agree with Zunali. Also, the mirena can take about 6 months to settle down. I could see my periods - and pain! - decreasing with each cycle, and by 6 months I was pain and period free , although my Endo was mild compared to many people on here.

Hope this helps.
