Fed up and a moan

Just a moany post... I was put on norethisterone to bring on my period. I took it as directed for a week and now currently 4 days off the pills waiting for my period, in massive pain!! I haven’t been able to move or walk properly for the past two days.. the achy legs, joints, bones, limbs and head is just killing me slowly!! Last night I was laid in bed twitching and couldn’t stop!!!

The pain is unreal!! Supposed to be going to London for 4 days on Monday and dreading my period arriving then.. or this pain just continuing for much longer! I just want my period!

Know exactly what you are going through-I remember laying on the floor of the stockroom as my period had started and the bowels were on overtime-every month it felt as if I had the flu for the 1st 24 hours so you have a good moan. My GP prescribed Ponstan(mefamic acid) I used to take one capsule and within half an hour I could feel the pain abating and I could function more normally. I don't know how old you are whether you have or have not got children but all I can say through my experience was that the menopause was the best thing that happened to me now all I have to contend with is the bouts of pain from the Endo scar tissue on the ascending colon followed by loose bowel movements. Im only 27, and TTC baby number two. So I don’t want the menopause just yet! Although right now I think that may be the better option!!

And yes the cold I’m glad you said, I feel like I have the flu! It’s horrible. I have codeine at home and if needed I can get oramorph or tramadol! But I darent have them as I’m quite sensitive and I need to be lucid and be able to drive!!

I'm so bloody sorry your feeling so rubbish. I wish you'd have said hun. Bless you checking on me every time and your there in major pain. I hope you really start to feel better soon and this period makes an appearance after your trip. Keep taking pain relief hun and if u haven't get one of the heat pads that you can wrap round you with Velcro. Bless ya. Hope it stops soon 💗💗🤗😘

Yes I’m dosed up on painkillers but not really touching it now.

Just feel awful and really emotional!

Are you out and about today? Or at home. Get the oramorph if your at home. I know what your going through with that leg pain it's awful 💗💗🤗😘

I’m not sure how I can get it! I have to ring my gp for the prescription but it’s shut as it’s the weekend!

Ring 111 and they'll book you in for appointment if it's in your notes they'll give you your pain relief. Xxx

Yeah ring them then when Dr rings back they'll tell you. I did this ages ago when I was in dreaded tramadol before it made me crazy please just get the oramorph if yiubdo tramadol is, awful it causes a lot if headache maybe not now but later it will 💗🤗😘

I had oramorph after my laparoscopy surgery and was fine on. But it worked so may ask for that!
