Temperature

Hi everyone,

Does anyone experience temperatures along with endo pain? I’ve had a flare up since last week, and been hot since! Could this be an inflammatory response?

Would be good to hear if anyone else experiences this. X

I do tend to have a bit of temperature when I'm on and then I'm always hot too, like I don't want to wear anything warm and I sweat a lot too.

I’ve had fever/sweats and raised glands on my neck - I presumed endo was involved and probably makes your immune system weaker! No expert though, but yes I suffer from this too!

Hi, I used to always be a cold person but over the last few years my temperature 🤒 has changed a lot. I’m worse at night time. I’m like a radio in bed. I can’t have the heating on in the bedroom and for the last few years I’ve had my summer duvet on in winter. It does get worse when it’s the time of the month. I’m hoping after my opp it won’t be as bad x

You’re not alone, When I’m having a flare up I have a low grade fever. I’ve also begun to have terrible trouble sleeping recently as I feel hot all the time despite not having any heating in my house. I’ve currently got all my windows open and I’m only wearing a short sleeved nightdress and it’s November!

Thanks for all your comments! I’m the same, can’t sleep in long pjays and can’t have heating on in bedroom! I get awful nightsweats, I wake up soaking!! It’s horrible!!

I haven’t got my date yet 😂 my next consultation is the 5th dec and I’m counting the days. I’ve had all the tests I needed so next step is the opp. Is it bad I’m actually looking forward to it so I have a chance of feeling better again and getting my life back x

I’m waiting on my date coming through for my op! I’m the same, can’t wait for mine, I just hope they find something to explain the pain etc!!! Hope you get your op v soon!! It’s awful waiting! X

Yep. This sound familiar. It was like i was on fire each month. Im a natrually cold person (temperature wise lol not emotionally) and this was the one time each month where i was in a furnace.

It never came alone either. Not only was it fever pitch but sweating and headaches. Also the sickness. And shear tiredness from feeling your body go through such battering pain.

Weird thing was that if someone tried to cool me down id feel worse. I had to ride it out like waves.

That’s awful! What a shame! I’m the exact same! Feel like I’m unwell most of the month!! Annoying! X
