Awful cramps

Hi!

I recently got off opiates for pain (started taking Percocet from doc), got used to them..had to stop bc that's not life. My endometriosis has me in cramps a week before my period, and today is day 1, I'm screaming into a pillow, heating pad, naproxen are not helping...sending hubby to get ibuprofen instead as its antiflammatory. My doctor can't prescribe me any painkillers (I'd be scared to take them again), I do have Ondasetron but don't see how that would help.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Thank you!

Pill wise, have you tried gabapentin or amytripeline? They are not opiate.

Otherwise, tens machine, acupressure or puncture, hot baths, herbal Kalms is all I can think of.

Have you applied to your hospital pain management clinic given how severe it is?

I do have gabapentin. I will take one and see if it works. I called my doctor when I posted but haven't heard back.

I'd love a bath but I'm losing too much blood.

As to acupuncture, it never worked.

I'm just laying here in fetal position...just took 4 more advil.
