I know many of you have had laps, but have any of you had proper 'open' surgery to remove cysts, if so how long is the recovery, as in how long in hospital and how long before you went back to work? Thank you 😊

Hi I haven't had a op to remove cyst but I've had open surgery to remove a clump of endo I was in hospital 2 nights and after about 2 weeks I was feeling better and able to do most things apart from strenuous things. Hope you have a speedy recovery. Take care xx

Hi. I had open surgery to repair a ruptured cyst, I had been poorly a few days and had complications but usually they keep you in 2/3 nights. You need to give yourself plenty of rest and have at least 3. Weeks of taking it easier. I was back working within a month but it was to soon. Take your time and in the long run it will be better. Take care. Xx
