I had my Endo lap surgery two and a half weeks ago. They removed Endo from both my left and right ovaries as well as the areas that it spread to. My healing was going well and I took it easy. Went back to work after a week and a half (should have taken more time but had a contract for work and didn't want to miss it). Last Friday (at the two week mark) I started having incredible pain in my lower back, spreading to my pelvis and abdomen. Similar to the pain I used to have when a cyst would rupture (pain extending to thighs). I went to the emergency room, they did an ultrasound and found a small cyst on my left ovary. Which is odd because they should have removed everything. I went home with pain medication. The next day I woke up and that same pain began, I took pain meds which took the edge off but then I began bleeding. I've been on period suppressants for almost a year now and haven't had this happen. It was the equivalent of having a heavy flow. I went back to the emergency room and the doctor there told me that it's fine, just my hormones and part of healing.
Have any of you had a similar experience? I'm worried about the bleeding. It's been three days since this happened and I have just some spotting. I haven't really excercised, the day before Friday I walked for 20 min. But that's all. Could it be because I moved too much. I'm scared that this intense pain is going to come back randomly. I'm exhausted from feeling exhausted and being in pain. I though this surgery was supposed to help. Waiting to get an appointment with my surgeon but work is getting in the way.
