Pre-menopause

Facing pre-menopause with confirmation of hormone test . Currently on Livial . Taken for 3 months . No side effect . I'm an endometriosis patient . Should they be any concern or worry about certain things ? Kindly advise .

Hi, I'm now into the menopause. So far my experience is that endo has flared up, following many relatively good years on the Mirena. I think this is because oestrogen declines before progesterone. However I have yet to find any doctor or research which suggests how to manage it.

I was put into premenopause with zoladex injections prior to having the full hysterectomy. Been taking livial since then with no problems. Hospital did try to change it to HRT but had a migraine and terrible hot flushes the whole time so stopped and went back to the livial. So far, I feel as good as I can expect I guess 😊
