I was diagnosed with endo a year ago. The surgeon said it was only mild but I know it has got a lot worse and spread to different parts, it also feels like I have cysts.
I'm constantly going back to the GP asking to be referred back to the hospital, finally after a very painful failed attempt of having the coil fitted. I have been referred to gynaecologist.
I also have another chronic pain condition called fibromyalgia which the GP's like to blame my pain on but I know my body and I know fibromyalgia doesn't cause all the Endo symptoms I have been having. It does enhance the pain.
I'm on the mini pill which I was told would stop the pain and bleeding. My periods have stopped but the pain gets so bad that sometimes I can't stand.
If sorry if this post is confusing, I think I just wanted to tell someone who understands as I have no support from my partner and my family live 240 miles away. I have 2 young children that I feel I can't be a fun loving mum to as I'm always tired and in pain.
If you got this far in my post thank you for reading it
Xx

I'm sorry you're dealing with all of this. You know your body best, so don't let them brush you off! I can understand how you feel from a pain standpoint.
I do not have fibromyalgia but my sister does, so I know how doctors treat fibro patients.. they just blame everything on the incurable disease 🙄.
I have been referred to get a laparoscopy done for possible endo since my periods have stopped for 6 months now, and it runs in the family. I'm sure your kids will end up understanding that you are doing your best!! My mom has been through hell while I was growing up but I know she is always there for me no matter what is going on with her.
It is a shame that you have no support from your partner.. sounds like they are pretty clueless. My fiancé has been helping me through everything. I hope your partner will come around and be supportive.
