Just a current update for those who have been following my story.
On Thursday I got my period thank goodness, my period seems to be "normal" it's not heavy and nor is it light. It's very bright red in colour and not dark brown blood like my period last month. Most importantly I have no pain or maybe the slight cramp but nothing a hot water bottle doesn't fix.
I was scared to get my period after my first lap last month in which they removed my appendix but happened to be a burst cyst that ruptured and had 100mls of free blood.
On the 10th of August I go for my pelvic ultrasound to see if the 36mm cyst on my right ovary has disappeared or not. Those results from the pelvic ultrasound I get on the 17th of August so it will be an anxious wait. Praying it has
Disappeared.
I will continue to share my story with you all, few more weeks I will have some answers about the cyst on my right ovary

They gave me a suppositry pain relief at 10.30 but im still in pain. Then i was sent to gynae and the bloke saw me and chatted. They've sent me home told me to take 1 paracetamol and 1 codiene every 6 hrs and ibuprofen every 8 when needed. Along with laxatives so I don't get bunged up. I'm in f@#*ing agony. Worse when up right and moving. Currently in bed with a hot water bottle. I've to go back up to North Manchester on Monday for a scan so they can see if it my cyst, and to see if it's burst or grown ect. Xxx
Omg Suzie that's awful, I had one at the beginning of the month I was in hospital three days on IV morphine and still felt the pain. In fact it still aches three weeks on. Can't imagine how you are coping at home just on paracetamol and codeine. If it gets too much go back to A&E.
Awww thankyou Laura. I don't know how I'm managing tbh. I defo think theveryone bed rest has helped. I really hate taking tablets especially codiene. I would of loved to of stayed in hospital for complete bed rest and stronger pain relief but I had my kids this weekend so wanted to be home with them.
Gosh, you are coping with your children too, hats off to you. I feel very fortunate as my husband just took over childcare etc with some help from friends 😉 I am not sure they would of let me out unless I made a massive fuss as I was quite sick as well. In hindsight think it was the morphine, as like you I don't normally take painkillers. Bed rest is beneficial definitely, so I hope you can get plenty of it.
It will be three weeks on Monday for me and I am going to attempt an exercise class! As I fear my tiredness now maybe due to inactivity and I can cope with my achey ovary now. In fact I am getting quite accepting of the constant dull ache. Not sure that's a good thing though!!
Would be great to hear how you get on at your scan tomorrow.
