Heavy periods after laparoscopy

I had a lap for endo around 3 months ago. Whilst in surgery, they fitted a coil to slow down the endo returning, but also found an 'impressive' case of stage 4 and a low AMH. Me and my partner have decided to try for a child, so I had the coil removed a month ago.

Sadly, no pregnancy this month.. but an awful period! Is it normal to have this after a lap or coil removal? As with endometriosis, my periods have always been painful, but this month they are 10 times heavier than usual and I just feel washed out.

Has anyone had the same thing? Thanks :)

Excuse the details.

After my first lap I could have used a bucket and it still wouldn't have been enough. I'd been told my first period would be very heavy after op. But I didn't expect that much.

My second was much more normal for me. Then the third was small and I hardly noticed it which was new for me.

If your really worried ring your doctor to ask about it.

Good luck x
