Im new, please be gentle.

I just wanted to say hi as I am new to the group and to the Health Unlocked community as a whole. Endometriosis has only recently been mentioned to my, by a consultant. I'm not even 100% sure that she said I had it, it was more of a comment to herself as she was looking at my bloods, scans and other test results. I did ask, she managed to say an awful lot, still without telling me much. I do have all the symptoms, but also a lot of questions and this is why I signed up!

I also have Fibromyalgia, which is a constant annoyance to me as it manages each and every day to make me feel useless in some way. I struggle with severe anxiety disorder but I am fighting against it.

I have 2 sons in their early 20s who are just the most amazing people I know and they make me proud every day, they are also the reason I get up in the mornings. I've been married to my grumpy old git just 3 years now. We had a very long engagement!

I am due to start my second year at uni in September, I study Criminology and Sociology, mainly because I'm a nosey old bag and don't like knowing half the story of anything. Going to uni has given me a new lease of life and has helped me face a lot of my anxieties.
