Anyone out there had/got endometriosis on bowel? I had surgery 2 years ago to remove adhesion and ovary and laser treatment on areas near bowel. But the pain has come back - very surprised as I thought that removing the ovary and the tissue linking to the bowel would prevent it from causing pain in my bowel. Has anyone experienced something like this? Is there any other treatment options worth considering?

Endometriosis on bowel
Hi I can't help you reg treatment. But I had surgery to remove large cyst and ovary two weeks ago. When I came round I was told they couldn't take my ovary because I have Endo which has stuck my ovary to my bowel and kidney ! I have to go back in 3 months when things have settled after surgery to discuss further treatment ! Hope you find answers x
I had/have endo on the bowel. I had endo shaved off my bowel years ago and I had a lap several weeks back and got told my bowel is now tethered into my pelvis due to scars but they saw no sign of endo on the parts that they could see. I still have pains, bad bloating and passing blood also constant constipation.
I have RV ebdo on the bowel.
Nodular RV endo is a different type of endo to others and is believed able to generate its own sources of oestrogen to sustain itself.
It could be new endo, not all endo having been removed also could be a non endo cause eg new adhesions from your last surgery or nerve damage.
Were you treated in a BSGE accredited endo centre?
