Hi, I'm currently on my way to finding out if I have endo. Recently I've been experiencing a heavy feeling in my pelvis and lower abdomen (mainly when I'm ovulating) - does anyone else suffer with this? I've also been getting a pain in my back/bowel when going to the loo (this pain is new to me) Debabting if to go to Drs about it or wait until my laparoscopy

I too suffer with the heavy feeling in my pelvis. I have just found out I have a cyst on my ovary too. The endo also affects my bowels and i have pain on going to the toilet. Better safe than sorry id get it checked at the gp. Xx

I had a laparoscopy 2 years ago and was diagnosed with pelvic adhesions however I am now pushing to be referred to and endometriosis specialist. I to have the heavy feeling and pain in my back and bowel. I'm almost certain this is down to endometriosis. Personally I would make a list of all the symptoms or even a symptoms diary as this is going to be really helpful in your consultation. Good luck xx

I've already had my consultation. I'm currently waiting for my appointment to come through the post

I was diagnosed with endo and after two laps I had endo on my ovaries, bladder and intestines, pain in bowel was more stabbing pain in my rectum, eposodes or diarrhoea, bladder issues, pain in rectum, left side ove groin and lower back. Currently on hormone therapy and HRT which hasn't been a easy ride so waiting to see specialist for surgerie options. The only way you will truly no without second guessing is to have a lap. If you haven't had a lap, bladder, bowel, ovaries etc are all close together so a lap is the only way x

I had both symptoms. I was diagnosed with a ruptured ovarian cyst, endometriosis and an e-coli infection. I had another cyst grow on my ovary which was surgically removed during my laparoscopy. x

I know the feeling your talking about, I am quite fit and active and when I get that feeling at times I struggle to move. When I first started getting that feeling I went to the doctor and it was then getting a diagnosis was hurried up.

The way I describe it is that it feels like there's a concrete block sitting in my abdomen, I find a heat pack and rest helps. My endo was there so long that it had pulled my bowel so much it had a corner and that was why any bowel movement was so painful, I'd be in so much pain after a movement I'd have to lie down for 5 to 10 minutes to come round

The only one that can help you is your doctor and I'd advise you to keep going back repeatedly until your happy with what's being done to get things sorted for you. The doctor might be able to get the laparoscopy and results speed up for you.
