3 days post laparoscopic hysterectomy and BSO

So it's been 3 days. Bleeding stopped on day one and I have had only a small amount of pain. Until today. I finally managed a BM but after this I started to have some more vaginal bleeding and pain. The bleeding is watery and bright red and pours like a tap being turned on. The pain is crampy and isn't being thwarted by pain ness. Should I be concerned?

If the bleeding is heavy or persistent then you need to go to A&E. Take care. x.

Please get checked ASAP. It sound like you may have torn a stitch or something. It's always better to get checked early. Hope everything is ok.

I agree with the others, get it checked. I had my hysterectomy 4 weeks ago. No bleeding until I did a bowel movement and then it started, but it was light pink. I was told anything bright red or that soaks up a pad in an hour is something you need to get checked. Hope things are ok xxxxxx

Oh and also, get some stool softeners to help things along! Worked wonders in the first few weeks xxx
