I've ended up going cold turkey on both a Mirena coil after 5 months (due to pelvic physical discomfort) and zoladex/tibilone ( only survived 2 months as the effects were so horrid).
I had a kind of hormone crash lunchtime got the shakes and have started to bleed heavily. Is this normal?
What should I do for the best to help survive reduce withdrawal symptoms and also how long will it take for hormones to settle again?

I had my coil for 8 months, removed on 20th Apr. I feel like I'm over the worst of my withdrawal symptoms now but it didn't hit me that hard luckily, I was just so pleased it was removed I had really heavy bleeding on my first period. Hoping that eases next month but I'm going back on Prostap anyway xxx
I had some bleeding on removal but then it was a couple of weeks later when I had what seemed like a more normal period - it was heavy but over in about 6 days xxx
