With the coil, do you have a constant period cramping with the occasional sharp pains?

I'm not bleeding as I'm taking norethisterone so I'm confused.

I have an ultrasound scan booked for Wednesday as when my gp felt my stomach, she could feel a lump.

I had a laparoscopy the end of march and thatshowed no endo but an impression of adenomyosis.

Hey hun :)

It took a while for my camps to settle with the coil tbh, I'd say probably about 6 months before I felt any kind of benefit from it 😕 xxx

I had 24/7 pains from Mirena, like being stabbed with a knife constantly. Plus extreme fatigue, depression and horrible mood swings. After 4 months of agony I went to my doc, saying I couldn't take it any more- they finally listened and found out that it was being expelled, sitting halfway through my cervix. I swear, people who are sensitive have bodies that reject it. A week later, I'm feeling like a million bucks first time in forever (and I was also on Norethindrone on top of it bc I was still cycling and it was causing cysts). Now I'm not on anything and life is much better. Trying strict anti-inflammatory diet, supplements and more exercise as I can manage. Have stage II endo, multiple surgeries. I still don't know how my cycles will be though.... Hoping you can find some relief!

I had awful aches and cramps with the coil..my gyne said it would settle. I battled with it to slow the endo regrowth down, but used ibuprofen all the time!

I had it removed when we decided to try for a baby and as soon as it was out, there was instant relief!!

I wouldn't have one again...I had more pain with it then without!
