Wait for endo centre

Hi does any one know how long it takes to be referred to endo center. I have chosen to have surgery and am now waiting for appointment at Colchester. Any advice much appreciated

Unfortunately each centre has different waiting times. If you call them they should be able to give you some idea. I went to Guys and it took about three months from referral to first appointment and then a further six months to surgery.

I am in the same boat as you. I have just been diagnosed with sever endometriosis on the bowel through a laparoscopy (1 week ago). I am also trying to get pregnant but my gyn has not suggested IVF.

I'm now waiting to go back and see my gyn in a couple of weeks then have an MRI - I'm not sure what this is for. Maybe to see how affected the bowel is.

I was told my second surgery will be "in a few months" which is not very specific.

I hope you get seen soon and the surgery help with the pain. I am desperate for that and just hope it works!
