First period after lap

So as well as recovering from the op i started my period. It's been extremely painful, clotty with unbearable pelvic pain

A little frustrated as I assumed my periods would be much better after my gynaecologist removed my endo during the lap. Is it my body healing or has the endo removal failed? Has anyone else experienced this? I had my lap surgery 11 days ago.

The first period after a lap can be heavier and more painful, hopefully they should get better over the coming months. You are still recovering from surgery, be kind to yourself and give your body a bit longer to heal.
