Hi, it helped me. I had it with Vesicare. Calmed things down a lot. I hope this helps

Interested!! Can I ask what the bladder issues are?? I have had major issues since emergency surgery following hysterectomy. In what way does amitriptyline help?

I started taking Amitriptyline to help control sciatic pain and it has stopped my bladder from being overactive and making me wake up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night
