I've had endo now for about 3 years and only just recently had my first course of acupuncture. Has anyone had acupuncture to help with their symptoms or fertility? If so did it work? Xx

Endo and acupuncture
I tried acupuncture when I was trying to get pregnant, but only went once as I didn't enjoy the experience. I then tried reflexology and that was great. Found it really relaxing and made more sense to me. I had it when I was going through ivf both times and the ivf worked both times. Not saying that the reflexology was the reason for it working (it might have been, but no proof ), but it did help with my mental health as I felt I was doing everything I could to make things work, it was time out from life and a bit of a therapy session as I could talk to the reflexologist about things. However, I'm sure there are a lot of people who feel the same about acupuncture. If you feel you're getting any sort of benefit from it and can afford it then carry on. Xxx
How many times did you have reflexology for it to feel like a benefit? If you don't mind me asking how did you find IVF? I've heard so much about it and that it's really painful. I start mine in the next few months and so scared xx
I can't remember exactly how often, maybe fortnightly, but a reflexologist would be able to advise you. I didn't find ivf painful. My husband made up the drug (it was fiddly) and then I injected myself. Emotionally it was hard, but I tried just to take one step at a time and not think too far ahead. And it is so worth it - I had it twice and am so very lucky to have two girls. Xxx
I tried acupuncture when I was V I'll with endo awaiting g an OP and it temporarily eased my pains, it was not a long lasting sustainable effect. I didn't link any of the alternative therapies to assisting with pregnancy
