I have not been diagnosed but I am 95% sure I have endo. Gynie has put me on the pill for 6 months. I've been on it 3 months so far. And still in pain. Only thing I don't get is the barb wire feeling which I was getting when ovulating and on period.
How comes I'm still in pain. Gynie says the pill should stop the pain......

The pill didn't stop my pain for 6 months and even then the 5th month I had to take 2 pills as to one, sometimes it has to do with your metabolism and if you need a higher dose.
I also have a Fallopian tube that sticks out of my abdomen according to my physiotherapist.
Are you taking the mini pill back to back? Or a combo pill, if it's combined then do not take 2 since it risks blood clots.
I was suspected of endo. Had a laporoscopy and nothing was found.
I am still definitely sure I have endo, so far this has been going on 9 months however. I was put on the mini-pill by my doctor to stop all the bleeding the implant was causing me, this worked. I believe that they are hormonal drugs, some of which is used for endo? That, plus lots of other tablets, I am still in pain, increased pain since my op.
However the pill most definitely has not stopped the pain, if your doctor is saying that it will, personally, I would seek a second opinion.
The pill isn't a painkiller is it....? I wouldn't go with what that doctor is saying....
