Hi,
I have had severe pain in my abdomen for over a year, after visiting a lot of doctors with no answers, I took the CA-125 test which was 44.50, for the normal person that will be 35.00. the gynecologist took a guess and told me that it might be endo and prescribed visanne tablets which helped a great deal with the severe pelvic pain, that was last year November. After the completion of the second box of the tablet the CA -125 went up to 59.5 but the pain subsided but not completely, and again after the third box of visanne I went for another CA - 125 test this time it was 59.6., but I still got the pain sometime moderate to dull but not like the sharp and constant pain I use to have in the beginning. now, my question is why is the CA - 125 keep rising even though I am on this tablets, is it not suppose to drop down? or does it mean that this might be some sort of something else not endo? please help, I am from South West Africa.
