Advice on pain/contraception please...

I started my periods when I was 11 and diagnosed with endometriosis at 19 (three years ago). Since the age of 12 I have been on various contraceptive pills, the implant etc.

In my first op (July 2014) I had the implant removed and a mirena coil put in. They told me it would take about six months to settle, bleeding to stop etc. I went back in March 2015 with near constant bleeding (three weeks on, two weeks off) and they put me on the pill as well.

Since that I have had another op (last July) and although the bleeding has stopped I am still getting the pain. I don't know whether to get the mirena coil taken out and hope for the best with just the pill again?

I've gained 2 stone since being on dual contraception and I cannot shift it at all, plus with the pain I have I wonder if it is worth it.

Has anyone else experienced the same or something similar?
