Triptorelin after endometriosis removal

Hi everyone,

I have just joined this forum and am looking for some advice of previous experience.

I had surgery two weeks ago to remove a large cyst from my ovary. Whilst doing the surgery the consultant found I had lots of 'sticky tissue' on lots of my organs and so removed all of this whilst I was under. So I now have no cysts and all my reproductive organs are clean and fully functioning now. He has advised me to have 6 months of the triptorelin injection. My husband and I are desperate to start trying to conceive and I'm really worried that having this injection is going to not only set us back but cause problems with my menstrual cycle.

Prior to this my periods have been VERY regular.

Any advise greatly appreciated
