Excruciating pain removing my Mooncup

Hi all.

I've used a Mooncup on and off for several months without any issues but today I had pain and lack of flow during urination. So I decided to remove my cup and try again. I had the most excruciating pain in the left side of my cervix during removal. I cried.

Has anyone else had any issues like this?

Yes I really want to be able to use one but would have sometimes where it really set things off. I think it's my adenomyosis, like you're moving the uterus a bit with it... That was my theory!

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I'm sorry that you've had issues with a cup too.

I only knew a minimal amount regarding adenomyosis so I did a little research...it all sounded far too familiar.

Your theory makes sense to me! It's so frustrating as I'd been using the cup with no pain or issues, then yesterday is was so horrendously painful that I am scared to even attempt to use it again.

So I'm back to using pads. :(
