So I had a laprcrosproy yesterday and was told they removed a cyst(which I've had before) and some endometriosis. I've been left confused though. Does this mean I have endometriosis? And if I do, what are the chances of it come back?
Thanks in advance x

If they said they removed some endometriosis during the op then yes, it confirms the diagnosis.
Unfortunately there is no permanent cure for endometriosis, however it can be treated in various ways, such as various hormone treatments (e.g. Contraceptive pills), painkillers and even a change in diet has helped some. It may be that you'll need further surgery at some point to repeat the process of removing a build up it via antoher laparoscopy.
Best thing to do is speak to your GP if you're not sure and discuss management which will depend completely on what sort of symptoms bother you he most etc and how severe they are.
Don't be afraid to ask questions and talk about it with your GP/consultant/support groups etc.
Best wishes moving forward, hopefully the surgery you've had will alleviate your symptoms for a good while 😊
I think a lot of doctors just don't know what to do about endo and instead of admitting that and suggest you get another opinion they just send you on your way acting like there really is no need for concern.
Be aware that all doctors have huge egos .
Some just can not admit it's possible that they don't have all the answers .
The stupid thing is , nobody expects them to have all the answers .
But we do expect honesty and to help get us to the right dr than can help.
For some reason that is just to big a pill for some of them to swallow
