Not happy, so frustrated!

I have just rang my Gynocology receptionist, I was due for surgery in November so was looking forward to some answers soon. Iv just rang and it's been pushed back to December so frustrated that I get close and it gets took away again I don't want to be ill for Christmas! So frustrated!! I want my laproscopy xx

Bless you, it's just frustrating you wait 7 years to get a laproscopy because the doctors don't listen. Finally get to have one and it feel like your getting to a finish line but it just gets further and further away. I know Iv waited 7 years 2 more months should be nothing but I was just so hopeful it would be next month. I just want a diagnosis x

I think Soph is talking about diagnostic timeframe with endo which is going to numerous doctors till one finally believes you as to misdiagnosing you or telling you the pain is normal and then treatment is finally scheduled.

In my case I got my first period when I was 8 and kept seeing doctors, I've seen 3 paediatricians, 1 gyn, 2 urgent care docs who took me under their wing for a few months, a physch at 14 (1 dr thought the pain and symptoms were in my head, another thought I was skinny so I had anorexia, the physchiatrist sent me back after not finding anything).

I was misdiagnosed with- Acid reflux, IBS, scoliosis (do have it), electrolyte defficiency, and appendicitis 5 times.

Overall it took me 9 years just to be told what endo was not to mention just be referred to a gyn and if my speacilsit doesn't do the lap before early April it will be 10 years.

I get what you mean, I found out laps have a waiting time of 6-12 months now and I've been waiting for a speacilst appointment since early May, I'm just hoping he wants to do the lap.

Yes overall to be taken seriously to be considered for endo it has been 7 years. Hannah sounds like you've really been through it, I just feel like I can move forward with whatever the outcome when I finally have my lap. It's a nerve wrecking wait as well. I hope you get sorted soon to Hannah all the best xx

I'm not sure if this will help for you but I find ginger helps my pain and nausea a bit, the first time you eat it though you might feel a little tired, but make sure you eat candied ginger or ginger slices with each meal.

That's exactly how I feel, I just wish I knew how bad it was, I want to be told that the pain was there this entire time.
