Had a lap and d & c done 5 weeks ago and today the cramps have started and the pain is awful worse period pains ever in my life and believe me I had them bad since I was 16. Having very bad bowel spasms too. Any advice or tips to make them bearable 😢

Sorry to hear your in pain. My first period after my lap was awful too. The cramping started two days before I even got my period but was so intense I was crying my eyes out! The GP gave me naproxen and said to expect first few to be quite heavy and sore as everything is delicate after the op. I rested a lot with my hot water bottle on my tummy and took the pain killers for the worst few days. Did u also get a mirena?
