Hi, I am scheduled to have the Mirena procedure in a few days for likely endo and am wondering if anyone has tried a progesterone only pill with positive results. They both have side effects and it's a touch decision. I appreciate any help anyone can give!

Hi I'm on cerezzete which has helped the unbearable pain but not any of my more debilitating symptoms yet. I get daily headaches but this could be the pill or the endo,I've put on weight and other symptoms. I refused the coil when first diagnosed due to the problem I have with sear tests and I know the coil isnt right for me. It works for some and not others. It would help you to get a diagnosis to confirm if it's endo this can only be done via surgery. You need to do what you feel is right for you. Xx

Hi and thanks for your response. I live in the US and most doctors here (at least in my area) make you try the treatment before they will even do the laproscopic surgery to diagnose the Endo. I keep flip flopping on which method is best as hey all have less than desirable side effects. Thanks again for your feedback!

You can have an internal scan. I was diagnosed that way. Just like having a smear test.
