Should I be concerned

I have had a laposcapy done 4 weeks ago, found stage 1 endometriosis in ovaries and cervix.

I had the coil fitted whilst I had the procedure done. I've had constant pain and been bleeding now for 10 days.

Sorry for the horrible photo but I passed this which feels like muscle.

Is this normal?

Thanks

It just looks like a blood clot t me n I've passed some massive ones but even the lining of your womb coming away in one go doesn't normally feel like muscle,in my opinion it's nothing at all to worry about but u could always show ur dr.

Been looking up and spoke to doc it's the lining of my womb. Just in so much pain with this coil you worry it's something bad.

Thanks

This happened my last few periods, my gyn wasn't worried to the point of thinking I needed a lap but put me on the pill since she said it was dangerous for me to have a period.

The coil takes a while to regulate with your body, I've heard of people bleeding for 3 months.

I cannot stress this enough, heating pads, get ones you can put over your abdomen and groin like the magic bag, it'll help with the pain.

where do you get these magic pads from, i use the stick on heat pads and hot water bottles, i dont think i can cope with this pain for 3 months, i cant do anything, at least with my endo i had about 3 days of intense pain but then it eased, this is now 11 days, i spoke to GP she wants to see me if the bleeding doesnt stop by the end of the week.

thank you for the reply

Rebecca
