Bladder

I also have to frequently go to the loo as my bladder just can't hold a lot of fluid anymore. I'll be up atleast two or three times during the night. Does anyone else find there going a lot more?

Thank you

Hi thanks for your reply, I'm the same i can feel like im bursting but then only a trickle comes it. x

Do you know if you have endometriomas? I had three and they were removed this week. The relief on my bladder has been immediate!! In the last six months I have hardly been able to hold anything in and would wake in the night in pain and desperate for the loo.

Yes I do and I had thought that's what's putting pressure on my bladder. I'm glad to hear you've had relief since having yours removed.

Mine were obviously putting a lot of pressure on my bladder! Are you going to be having surgery?

Yes I'm waiting for my next surgery date at the moment. I've been told maybe 2 month wait. X

Yes I have been going a lot more. Luckily its not too bad when I am in bed as long as I go RIGHT before I go to sleep, not drink for a while before I go to bed, and only sleep like five/six hours. But when awake I go to the toilet like every half an hour to an hour. I can probably hold it for a little, but then pain I get when I do is not fun!

Hi yes- I,ve had a nasty UTI for over 3 weeks, its now calming down but retaining urine was a real problem and it became "Tenna ladys to the rescue". I do have hydrotherapy and was advised to find the pelvic floor muscles front and back, and get them strengthened with vigorous excercises, its helping!!

On a good night, I get up about 3 times to pee; on a bad night (prior to and during period), I get up 6-8 times to pee. But I know why, I have a large endemetrioma displacing and pressing on the bladder. Have you had an ultrasound scan? That's how my cyst was initially picked up.

I am also getting up 2 to 3 times in the night and have had a lot of bladder problems over the last few months. A recent ultrasound scan shows I have another cyst and uterine fluid but I don't know if this is related to the urinary problems and I haven't had the full report from my scan yet. I have a lot of urgency to go but it always feels like my bladder isn't emptying properly. Since I have been drinking licorice tea the pain associated with urination has reduced a lot. It's all a bit worrying as i have been doing well over the past couple of years and haven't had an operation in nearly three years.
