So scared!!

Hi everyone so this morning I got a call from the hospital to say they've had a cancellation and my laproscopy will be Friday it was supposed to be in November!! So now I'm in a panic as I had not prepared for it to be this soon! My partner hasn't had time to notify his work so he won't be able to get the time off, I really am not prepared however I do want to have it done as its been a long time coming! I'm just really scared and unprepared also I'm worried they won't find anything after all these years and it will be back to square one. I don't think I could deal with the concept of going back to square one to find out what's wrong I just want a diagnosis! Xx

I had exactly the same worries as you - that they won't find anything and that I'd be running out of options to find out what the problem is. But there is only one way to find out!

My partner couldn't get the time off either but my mum came with me instead and she was great! I hope that you can get someone to come with you. It does sound stressful not having any notice - I hope you manage to sort everything out and I'm sure you'll start to feel better soon after your surgery! xx

It's been cancelled because of the strikes happening I'm gutted I finally thought I was getting to the finish line with a diagnosis and now it's been took away again xx

I think the strike is called off now. There is a list of further strikes in October and November on news website. Better check it out.

Next weeks strike has been cancelled, call the admissions dept and see if your lap is back on! Xx
