Zoladex side effects after stopping treatment ?

Hi there

I had my last Zoladex implant 3.6mg on 14th June after a 'long treatment'(6mths) for stage IV Endo. Its 24th July and I'm still having side effects(particularly hot flushes and insomnia). Can anyone else who had a 6month treatment give me any idea of how long until side effects started abate & how long until their period returned?

I had 3 months of zoladex and my doctor said it can take about 4 months before things settle down.
