Right ovary stuck down

Does anyone know what a right ovary can stick down to? My consultant who did my hysterectomy in April said my right ovary was stuck down - but didn't say what it was stuck to? I'm also unsure why he left it stuck down anyway? Also what sort of symptoms may this cause? Would I need an MRI or CT scan to show where it has stuck? Thanks Xx

Mine was stuck to my rectum and my pelvic sidewall - had the ovary out and mass and the adhesions cleared now two yr later left with ovarian remnant and worse pain than before - more adhesions have reformed too

Pain is pulling and sharp like a knife and also burning - xx

I've just had my right ovary removed. It had a large cyst and because it was stuck to scar tissue from a appendectomy, it took two hours to untangle. Still recovering, as the surgery was only five days ago. Had a mirena coil fitted to help with endo and fibroids. Time will tell on that one!

My left ovary had a chocolate cyst on it which ruptured and this had caused my ovary to stick down to my pelvic wall, cyst was removed and ovary put back in position. Leading up to this I had severe abdominal and pelvic pain and a constant niggling ache/pain on low left side x
