Illness following lap

I had my first laparoscopy 2 and a half weeks ago, I returned to work 4 days later and came off pain relief the next day. I had the endo burnt off and little cysts removed around my ovaries, last week I had an infection in my incision, now I have an awful chest and throat infection! I didn't see anyone about the infection in the incision and feel stupid going about a chest/throat infection but I feel really really ill!! Does anyone have any advice about this? I'm 24!

Best to see GP for some antibiotics and keep on top of the infection. May have reruned to work too soon? I also went back to work after a week but was really tired. Sometimes you felt you were too well to stay at home but that did not mean you were well enough to to go back to work.

All the best.
