Is this possible? Was wondering what jobs you do and how you manage on your bad days. I was a carer in the community but gave it up due to pain and the physical demand it had on my body this disease ruins your life without killing you!

I wonder that myself worked for 25 years and now in the prime of my life with endo.

Stopped work last year due to health issues that seem to be one after the other.

I wonder what i will do now as i clearly cant work fulltime.

I feel so sorry for those who must drag themselves there because they need the money.

This was us 12 months ago.

I felt i was declining but was unsure why.

I got us into a better position,hubby got a better job as we knew we wld be down to one wage.

However i didnt think it wld be this long.

I wonder too,i lay awake at night worrying what happens if something happens to hubby.

I work in a really stressful role in an office, on bad days I just struggle through and take painkillers like sweets! I don't take time off really, only for recovery from surgery! My work is all I have really so I don't want to mess it up.

I'm a senior residential worker in a children's home for disabled children. It's quite a physical job. I've recently reduced my hours from 37 to 30 to help me manage better. I'm on sickness monitoring due to having 6 weeks off after my lap at the beginning of the year so I don't want to take anymore time off sick. On bad days I take loads of painkillers to get through the day and set myself little goals until I can get home to bed! My work are very good and once the children have gone to school they are happy for me to go home if I'm struggling and make my hours up on a good day! Although during weekends and school holidays I can't do that.
