Hi ladies. I had operation on Friday to remove endometriosis and whilst in there the surgeon said he has also taken 2 biopsies on tissues that "don't show normal characteristic of endometriosis". Has this ever happened to anyone before? What else could it possibly be? Help please!

I do have endo was diagnosed 3 years ago tried many treatments and had no luck unfortunately so operating was the only option left. My operation was carried out by my endometriosis specialist so guess that's what made me worry a bit more as I'd of thought he'd of seen it all. But yeah I agree glad they've taken the biopsy to see what it is and hope it is just that and nothing more x
