Really need some advice

Hi all , I'm really new to this but just wanted to get advice or opinions from anybody who might be able to help . I'm 21 years old and am currently suffering from a lot of issues that my doctor thinks may be endometriosis . I know this can be a lengthy process to be given a proper diagnosis but I would be so grateful to anyone who can maybe help shed light on things and put me at ease .

I mainly suffer with quite bad abdominal cramps, along with extreme lower backaches and also really bad pains in my legs . The doctor has previously advised me that I also have ibs which I know can be irritated by endo and at the moment am having quite a hard time with my ibs also . I also battle with uti's on a constant basis (have had three this year already)

I'm currently on the combined pull and didn't know if this could have any good/bad effects and at this current moment in time am experiencing very bad cramping on and off but no show of any period after a week of coming off of it (definitely not pregnant) .

I'm sorry for such a lengtgy post but I'm at my wits end at the moment and would really appreciate it if anyone could help me xx

Hi there, I know hard it can be but you've come to the right place. We've all had moments of worry like you're having and it does continue but getting a proper diagnosis really helps. Has the GP mentioned a laparoscopy? That's there sure way to get a diagnosis and then they can give you a plan of action to sort it out. You do need to push a lot for one and not take no for an answer if you're adamant that there is an issue they're not fixing. Get an appointment and ask to be referred to an endo specialist (or a gynaecologist to start with). Keep us updated. X

Thank you so much ! I just want to be put at ease that I'm not being mad :) the gp has mentioned looking into it further after having several blood tests done , of which I'm still waiting for results for but it seems that like you said benign a little pushy might make all the difference . I just want to get to the bottom of why I feel like I do , thank you so much x

No problem, just keep pushing. You shouldn't have to but GPs do need a push. I had to suffer 15 UTIs until someone referred me so keep going. Xx

I will do , I just worry about I effecting me long term in the future the longer it's left that's all but I will push my GP to look into other options xx

Really sorry , i just have question if you don't mind , would you say that the issues in having are common in someone with endometriosis ? I'm just worried that the GP won't think so xx
