Worried of painkillers side effects

Hi,girls it has been a year since my first lap but no improvement ,Dr had put me on waiting list for total hysterectomy .I am living with pain which is unbearable I take every day pain killers during period time I have to take the mixer of pain killer my back kills me.

Is there any one who take every day pain killer plz advice I am also worried about its side effects plz help me.

Hey. Yeah I take naproxen every day and paracetamol with codeine most days. The pain clinic have told me that I could do this for the rest of my life and not have any long term damage or side effects as I was concerned about this too!

Hey I was on paracetamol and ibuprofen when I was in pain - whennit got really bad I had dihydrocodeine (wasn't that keen on it to be honest, had to lots of side effects, felt woozy and sick etc). You should try heat patches that you stick on your clothes - I used to stick them on my knickers front and back lol - they did the job! And I rubbed heat gels on my back and pelvis.
