Hi, I have cut out gluten, wheat, bread, pasta etc. It helps a lot. Also fresh milk, sugar. Those days when I go to a party, travel or otherwise allow myself to eat something out of this diet, I feel pain, bloating, cramps. Diet helps!
Yes diet really helps. Esp cutting out dairy and red meat (protein can be bad, depends on your choice) - both have high animal oestrogens which contribute to Endo pain. Losing excess weight will also help as fat cells produce some oestrogen adding to Endo probs. Most people try the Endo diet and have some success with it.
Dian Shepperson mills has written a brilliant book on an "endo diet" it has menus and recipes and explains foods that might help with pain and ones that might inflame the pain. I've done wheat free for 12 years and it's made such a difference! Good luck
